This project was made as a capstone project for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Information Technology Software Development program. Arran Woodruff had suggested we work with Aéro Mag 2000, a company he was working with at the time, to create a web application to assist with equipment and personnel management. The first half of the project, spanning September to December, was focused on the planning of the project. The second half of the project was spent executing what we had planned. During that half we encountered some difficulties halfway into February, our reading week when lockdown wasn’t implemented yet, where we attempted to work on the project remotely. Those difficulties taught us valuable information on how to work together remotely that by the time lockdown was implemented, and our education was transitioning to online, our progress was not slowing down.
