- Assorted LEGO for the little dude
This project started when I went to the LEGO store and found this set on the wall. I had to have it. I’m a big fan of the form-factor of Lamborghini’s cars. With over three thousand pieces and two thick instruction books, the box weighed over 10 kilograms by my estimate, you can guess that the majority of my time was spent building this car. My fingers were so sore afterwards. Actually having this completed set in front of me sparked an inspiration to get some really nice close-up shots of the car, and try to make a little figure to fit inside. Fun fact: to get the guy to fit in the driver’s seat, you need to remove his toes, absolutely brutal. The car itself has a lot of nice detail, like a rising spoiler, butterlfy wing doors, V-12 engine, and multiple gears with gear-shifting paddles at the driver controls! This was a good way to use the new macro lens I got for my camera.
